Cookie policy
Last updated 2026-10-06
We use as few cookies as we can get away with. Nothing in the optional categories loads until you have accepted it: the tag itself is not placed on the page, rather than being placed and told not to report.
Strictly necessary
These are exempt from consent under the ePrivacy directive, because the site does not work without them.

| pa_locale | Remembers the language you picked. | 1 year |
| pa_portal | Client portal only: keeps a client signed in after opening the link from their accountant. It stops working after 12 hours without use. | 30 days |

| pa_plocale | Client portal only: remembers the language the client picked. | 1 year |
| pa_theme | Remembers light or dark mode. Stored in your browser only. | Until cleared |
| vg_consent_v1 | Remembers the choices you make here. | Until cleared |
Analytics, optional
If you accept, we load Google Analytics to see which pages get used, so we know what to improve. IP addresses are anonymised. If you decline, the script is never loaded.
Marketing, optional
If you accept, we load Google Ads conversion tracking, which tells us whether an advert led to a signup. If you decline, the script is never loaded.
Changing your mind
You can change these choices at any time, and withdrawing is exactly as easy as accepting.
You can also clear cookies in your browser settings, which resets everything above.
